Lisa Elders

Lisa Elders was named Council Clerk in May 2007, a Defiance High School graduate where Lisa was a three year varsity basketball and softball player. Lisa is a member of the Ohio Municipal Clerks’ Association, and participated in the Ohio Public Records and Open Meeting Laws training. Lisa has been married to her husband Lowell Jr., a lead technician for Ohio Gas Company, for 18 years. They have two children, Ashley a senior and varsity softball player at DHS, Jacob a 5th grader, who plays Defiance Boys baseball and soon to play little league football.

Lisa has been involved in coaching softball and baseball. Lisa plays softball for a women’s league and also loves rock climbing and repelling, bungee jumping, snowboarding, dirt bike riding and knee boarding.
