925.21 Connections Outside City

The City Administrator is hereby authorized to issue service line sewer taps for property outside the City on legs and extensions of City sewers constructed pursuant to Resolution 1201 of the City for the same charges and under the same terms and conditions as heretofore specified in this chapter, upon the condition that the property owners enter into a written contract with the City to pay two and one-half times the rental charges as are made against property within the City. No other lot service tap connections other than those authorized shall be made for property outside the City, unless authorized by legislation of record. This section shall be construed so as to require every dwelling or business place to obtain a separate service tap and shall not be construed so as to permit an extension of the legs or extensions to service property or to permit a tap on the legs and extensions to service subdivisions. 925.22 PERMIT REQUIRED FOR CONNECTIONS

No person shall tap any sanitary sewer which leads directly or indirectly into the City sewer without obtaining a permit from the City Administrator. (Ord. 5330. Passed 10-15-91.)

925.23 NOTICES OF VIOLATIONS

Any person found to be violating any of the provisions of this chapter, except as otherwise provided in Section 925.13 and 925.99, shall be served by the Municipality with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for satisfactory correction. The notice shall be served on the person in a manner provided for the service of summonses in civil actions. The time allotted for compliance shall be not less than thirty days. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in the notice, permanently cease all violations.  (Ord. 5330. Passed 10-15-91.)

925.24 DAMAGING OR TAMPERING WITH WASTEWATER WORKS

No unauthorized person shall maliciously, willfully or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, deface or tamper with any structure, appurtenance or equipment which is a part of the wastewater works. Any person violating this provision shall be subject to immediate arrest under the appropriate criminal charge. (Ord. 5330. Passed 10-15-91.)

 925.25 SEVERABILITY

If any provision, paragraph, word or section of this chapter is invalidated by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions, paragraphs, words and sections shall not be affected and shall continue in full force and effect.  (Ord. 5330. Passed 10-15-91.)

 925.26 CONFLICTS

Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, all other ordinances and parts of other ordinances inconsistent or conflicting with any part of this chapter are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict.  (Ord. 5330. Passed 10-16-91.)
