The Holiday Inn Pumping Station, just southeast of the U.S. 24/S.R. 66 intersection, receives wastewater from the area along North Clinton Street (S.R. 66) north of Grand Avenue. Built in 1963, the pumping station is a wet well/dry well station containing two wastewater pumps. Design capacity is 0.76 mgd and the wastewater is pumped into an 8‑inch force main, which discharges into a 12‑inch sewer in North Clinton Street near Defiance College.
