Northwest Pump Station

Located at the intersection of West River Drive and Ridge Street, the Northwest Pumping Station receives wastewater from the northwest portion of the City. The pumping station was built in 1956, and has two submersible wastewater pumps with a design capacity of 0.48 mgd and a peak capacity of 0.96 mgd. The wastewater is pumped into a 12‑inch force main which discharges into the western end of the Northeast Interceptor Sewer.
